From two of the most iconic Bridges to be seen in view the Brooklyn Bridge (of course) & the Manhattan Bridge, also noting you’re nothing short of the amazing Manhattan Skyline views and then some. Perfect and ideal for a portrait session after the proposal. With all of that said this location is popular for a variety of reasons and for that draws in large crowd. So keep that in mind if privacy is your main concern. Though with proper planning and guidance you can still get a stunning proposal!

  This spot gives you an awesome view of the Manhattan skyline and Brooklyn Bridge or Manhattan Bridge (depending on angle) Creates a strong sense of space.

  Choose this area for your proposal to add a sense of playful romanticism. Skyline & bridge views of course and a softer Brooklyn atmosphere excellent for post-proposal portraits. I usually stop here after a successful proposal.

• Washington Street
  This street gives you the most sought out view of the Manhattan Bridge, when framed correctly you’ll catch the Empire State Building under it’s arch. Draws a heavy crowd. Consequently if using this for proposal early mornings only, and I mean early. Plan a photo session around your proposal if you want this spot.

A view like this is nothing short of breathtaking, you just can’t beat it! Of course this draws a crowd, so plan accordingly. Entry is based on timed tickets. Plan to go early morning or around sunset during the week. You won’t regret having the classically epic Manhattan skyline once your downed on one knee. It’s no wonder this is one of the best places to propose in NYC.

4. The Met

You simply cannot go wrong choosing The Met as your proposal location. The Met gives you a refined, editorial feel for your proposal location. Their exterior stairs, architecture, and Upper East Side surroundings also create a sophisticated NYC feel.

Choose The Met for your proposal, if you and your partner loves art, architecture, or a timeless city style portrait. After the proposal we can hit the nearby streets of the Upper East side or Central Park for your portraits after.

5. A Private Rooftop or Terrace

Straightforwardly if privacy matters most, then choosing a private rooftop or terrace you have access to is the route to go. Spring is especially popular because of the cherry blossoms (not as crowded as Central Park during Cherry Blossom season) Summer and fall offer rich greenery, & warm color.
